What is our current status with Boeing? You all had an extremely well-attended Demands Meeting where you elected a Bargaining Committee and laid out what you expect to see in a new contract. Bargaining Committee Members: Jared Nelson, Donnie Jones, Chad Schlotfeldt, Robert Bradley, and Jimmy McLellan.

Your Bargaining Committee has already met with us here at Local 174 to put together a first proposal to pass across the table. Our first bargaining session with the Company will take place April 9, and negotiations will continue daily until April 18.

On April 19, there will be a vote here at the Union hall. Our hope is that we will have a complete contract proposal to recommend that you ratify. If the Company delays and we do not have a fully-recommended offer by then, we will instead be voting to authorize a strike. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION AND A PAPER FLYER ANNOUNCING THIS.

Once negotiations begin, we expect to put out updates either daily or every other day, depending on how things are going at the table.
