Day 4 of the CalPortland ULP strike: everyone is getting into the swing of things and the camaraderie on the strike line is heartwarming. There were more vehicles honking their support today, and most importantly, the Teamsters 174 truck found its way to the Seattle picket and is parked directly in front of the CalPortland/Glacier Northwest corporate office. There will be mediation with all the Companies tomorrow, August 15 … let’s hope they are ready to follow the law and resolve these Unfair Labor Practices! And if not … well, you all know where to find us.
