CDL Truck Driver

• Drive trucks with a swept trailer, and clean windows and mirrors.

Requirements:

• Must be age 21 or older.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples,Tanker endorsements, and Haz Mat endorsement with TSA clearance.
• Must have 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must have a current Motor Vehicle Report that represents a history of safe and competent driving.
• Must be able to work the maximum hours allowed under D.O.T. Hours of Service Regulations on various shifts/days of the week, while maintaining outstanding attendance.
• Must pass an employment record, criminal background check, drug screen, physical performance test, driving test on company equipment, and a TSA Security Threat assessment.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers effectively.
• Must accurately and efficiently perform mathematical calculations necessary to do the work.
• Must meet all requirements of Sections 391 and 383 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Pick up material from customer location and transport to the company facility as assigned
• Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations
• Responsible for the cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicle and equipment
• Be able to interact with others in a professional and ethical manner while following the principals of good safety
• Follow all company regulations and be able to work overtime as required by the company
• Connect hoses and operates pumps and hydraulic equipment on truck/trailer to remove material

Position Requirements:

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have 2 years of commercial vehicle driving experience and be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must be able to communicate in English as required by Federal Motor Carrier Dept.
• Must have no ‘at fault’ accidents or moving violations within the last two years
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to physically climb in an out of the commercial vehicle and lift/move 100 pounds
• Must be able to read and utilize maps and navigation
• Must be willing to pursue additional endorsements
• Previous route experience desirable
• Must maintain regular attendance and punctuality
