The Union and all five Sand & Gravel companies met with a mediator today to attempt to reach a deal.
The Union gave the companies a revised proposal that contained a 26% reduction from the previous Union proposal.
At 5:10PM, the companies rejected that proposal outright and did not give any counter proposal.
We will be meeting with ALL LOCAL 174 MEMBERS IN THE SAND & GRAVEL INDUSTRY tomorrow morning — August 16, 2017 — at 9:00AM at the Local 174 Union Hall to discuss next steps for the entire industry.
