UPS Explanatory Meeting has been scheduled for August 12, 2018 at 9AM here at the Teamsters Tukwila hall. At this meeting, we will be explaining the full contents of all three agreements covering UPS Teamsters at Local 174: the National Master UPS Agreement, the Western Region Supplement, and the Joint Council 28 Rider and Sort Addendum.
It is important to attend the Explanatory Meeting before casting a ballot so that you can hear the full rationale behind every part of the Agreement — directly from the people who negotiated it.
We want your questions!
In order to make the presentation at the meeting more beneficial to you, we want to know what questions you have, based on everything you’ve already seen and heard.
Social Media can be a great form of communication … but it can also be a big source of misinformation. We want to directly address the rumors you may have heard.
The questions will be sorted by subject, and will be addressed and answered in the presentation of the full proposed agreement at the meeting.
