As General President Sean O’Brien takes over leadership of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, he continues to build his team by appointing International Vice President-at-Large Juan Campos to the position of Tankhaul Division Director, and Local 174 Senior Business Agent Marcus Williams to the position of International Representative of the Western Region Tankhaul Division. “Appointing Marcus Williams to this position highlights the importance of Local 174 in the national Tankhaul Division, as our Local Union continues to organize and win strong contracts in this core Teamster industry,” said Rick Hicks, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 174.

“I was humbled and honored by this appointment to serve the great membership of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters as an International Representative with the Tankhaul Division,” Williams said. “Not only am I excited to negotiate and assist in the negotiations of strong Teamster contracts, but I am truly excited about the opportunity for growth in this core and historical Teamster industry.”

One of the first major tasks Williams will undertake in his new role is to win a strong and industry-leading contract with the Swissport aircraft fuelers at SeaTac Airport, where Teamsters Local 174 represents over 100 members.
