Local 174 is pleased to welcome the newest member of our family: UPS Business Agent Kris DeBuck. Kris joins us after working at UPS for over ten years, first as a package car driver and then as a feeder driver. He was a shop steward at the Seattle UPS building for eight years, and has been a strong Teamster activist within the UPS membership throughout his career.

Kris is excited to have the opportunity to represent our members at UPS, who have shown such passion and support for the labor movement. He is looking forward to fighting hard for the members of one of the most militant Teamster Local Unions in the country.

“We are thrilled to add Kris DeBuck to our UPS staff and feel that he will be a major asset to the team we’ve created here,” said Teamsters Local 174 Secretary-Treasurer Rick Hicks. “He is a hard worker, a tough fighter, and a team player. We look forward to seeing him in action as a Business Agent.”

Kris’s jurisdiction will include Tukwila preload and drivers, Pacific preload and drivers, and Valley preload and drivers.
