We had our last General Membership Meeting before the summer hiatus on Thursday night. It was great to see a full auditorium! Lots of great staff updates, plus a neat gift for some of our members: at the Inauguration of International Union Officers at this year’s Unity Conference, the programs contained the photos and bios of all the Officers that were being inaugurated … and they also contained seven photos of Teamster members in action. Three of those pictures were of Local 174 members! 1.4 million Teamsters across North America, but our beautiful faces were chosen to represent nearly half of them! We got those pictures signed by General President James P. Hoffa and General Secretary-Treasurer Ken Hall, and framed copies of them for the people in the photos. Thanks for being so photogenic, Local 174!
