Congratulations to our members at Hertz Equipment Rentals (HERC), who unanimously ratified a mid-contract one-year extension over the weekend! The updated Agreement contains big wage increases, reductions in insurance premiums, and meaningful language improvements. For many of these highly skilled heavy haul drivers, their hourly wage increased by more than 10%. HERC had previously been struggling to recruit and retain drivers. This updated Agreement should help with that, along with rewarding our hardworking members for their skills.
